IDF Visit Jerusalem Hospital

Senior Medical and Paramedical Officers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have paid a courtesy visit to our main Hospital in Jerusalem in order to gain familiarity with our work and to learn a little of the history of St. John Eye hospital.

The Officers were welcomed by Rod Bull, CEO, Dr. Jeanne Garth, Medical Director and Reem Salameh, Administration Manager.

The IDF differ from most armed forces in the world in many ways, including in the conscription of women and in the overall structure, with close links between the ground forces, air force and navy.  Together, the IDF form one of the central Israeli institutions, with influential reaches into politics, economy and culture of the Israeli society.

The visitors were extremely impressed by their visit and most complimentary about the wide range of services available and the quality of care provided.
