£1,400/ $2,000 Corneal Grafting

Rest assured that at this difficult time, every donation, no matter how small, is vital to the continued success of our services.

One example of a smaller donation that you can make is of £1,400 or $2,000. This sum will allow the St John Eye Hospital Group to purchase a cornea for grafting from an eye bank in the USA. This will cover the cost of the cornea, customs clearance and transportation as well as theatre time and staff – and it will make a contribution towards our annual licence for importation.

What could be more valid than restoring someone’s sight?

We hope that this suggestion of how a smaller donation can make a difference appeals to you. We currently have over 100 people on our waiting list desperate for such a procedure.
