SJEHG Receives $1m Donation from the Emir of Qatar

The St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group is delighted to announce that we have received a donation of $1 million from His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifah Al-Thani,  Emir of the State of Qatar, as a first installment towards the cost of developing our new Day Case Hospital in Gaza.

The cheque was presented to the Hospital Group Team by Dr. Saeb Erekat yesterday, 23 May 2012, on behalf of President Mahmoud Abbas.
